Taylor Swift Can’t Stop Smiling About Rope Lana Del Rey in ‘Midnights’ Track ‘Snow on the Beach’ – Billboard

Taylor Swift has lifted the curtain on one of the most anticipated tracks from her upcoming Midnights project on Tuesday night (October 11) — at midnight, naturally — when she described the inspiration for her collaboration with Lana Del Rey on “Snow on the Beach.”

“‘Snow on the Beach’ with Lana Del Rey is track four on Midnights and I can’t go through that sentence without a smile because I’m a huge Lana Del Rey fan,” said Swift, who wore an appropriately fall-colored striped top for the final missive on her 10th studio album, which due out in October. 21.

The singer described the song as “falling in love with someone at the same time they’re falling in love with you, sort of in that kind of cataclysmic, fatal moment where you realize someone feels exactly the same as feeling…at the same time. She described the moment as feeling like, “‘Wait, is this real? Is this a dream? Is this real? Is this happening? really the case?’ A bit like seeing snow falling on a beach.

Although she said she would reveal more about working with LDR in the future, Taylor couldn’t help but talk a bit about her “Snow” collaborator, saying that in her opinion, Lana is “one of the greatest musical artists of all time”. The fact that I can exist at the same time as her is an honor and a privilege. In fact, Taylor said she would be “grateful…for life” to have the chance to work with Lana on the track.

This isn’t the first time Swift has praised LDR. During her speech at the 2019 Billboard Women In Music event, TayTay described the “Video Games” singer as “one of my favorite artists of this decade” and “in my opinion the most influential artist in the world.” pop”.
