Among the categories she dominated, many of them were voted on by fans, allowing her to rack up the votes of her devoted followers Swifties. With the 2024 presidential election less than a year away, Swift is starting the conversation early. Swift is the latest pop star to join the growing list of artists using their massive Stan platforms to boost voter registration. Last year, voter registration nonprofit HeadCount teamed up with dozens of artists to encourage pop fans to register to vote and check their registration status . Through campaigns with Harry Styles, Ariana Grande, Megan Thee Stallion, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Paramore and many others, the organization has registered 150,000 voters.
“A lot of artists want their fans to vote, but don’t want to get into the partisan divide,” said Andy Bernstein, co-founder and executive director of HeadCount.
