The American Music Awards take place tonight live on ABC, starting at 8 p.m. ET, but ahead of the show, winners in 26 categories were announced.
So far, the big winner is Taylor Swiftwho won three trophies, as well as Beyoncerapper Kendrick Lamar, latin superstar bad bunny and country star Morgan Walleneach with two.
Other pre-show winners include Harry Styleswho was named favorite male pop artist; BTSnamed Favorite Duo or Pop Group; Nicki Minajnamed favorite female hip-hop artist; Marshmallow, named Favorite Dance/Electronic Artist; and Doua Lipa and Elton Johnwhich won “Collaboration of the Year” for “Cold Heart – PNAU Remix”.
Taylor is nominated in three additional categories tonight, and if she wins them, she will become the most decorated performer in AMA history.
The American Music Awards, organized by wayne bradywill present performances of Pink, imagine Dragons, Charlie Puth, Carrie Underwood, Stevie Wonder, Dove Cameron, Baby Rexha, Anita and more.
