Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn appeared to be breaking social distancing rules when they were with her mother Elizabeth.
The couple did not appear to be walking two meters from the actor’s mother.
They were in London as the UK entered its third national lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.
People are not allowed to mix with other households, but two people from different houses are allowed to meet to walk outside.
Exceptions to this coronavirus rule include supportive bubbles that can form if a person lives alone in a household, for example.
Their love affair has flourished since they started dating in 2017 and the couple have even started writing songs together while on lockdown.
Emerging Out Of The Woods, the lovebirds didn’t stray from each other as they joined Joe’s mom for the walk in London.
Taylor added a pop of color to her look with her floral mask and opted for wellies and a thick coat to keep the cold at bay.
Joe also wore rubber boots with jeans and a padded jacket as he braved the freezing temperatures.
Her mother stood out from the forest with a yellow coat and floral mask similar to Taylor’s choice.
Joe was named on Taylor’s latest album under the secret name William Bowery.
The actor lent his lyric skills to help his girlfriend write Champagne Problems, Coney Island and Evermore.
They began to compose together on Folklore, which was their first album released on lockdown.
Together, the couple combined their love of music to write the songs Exile and Betty.
It was a pleasure for her fans as she gave rare insight into their relationship and the couple working together as a team.
Recently, Taylor admitted that she did not initially plan to write Folklore during the lockdown.
The singer shared how her cozy movie nights with her boyfriend inspired her storytelling.
Taylor cited movie classics Jane Eyre, Rear Window, and LA Confidential for sparking the idea that she could create characters and tell stories in her writing, rather than just writing about her own experiences.
She told Entertainment Weekly, “I never expected to make an album.”
She added: “In my early forties I started watching a lot of movies. We watched a different movie every night … I feel like consuming the art and storytelling of other people who opened that portal in my imagination and made me feel like, ‘Well, why haven’t I ever done this before?
“Why have I never created characters and crossed plots? And why have I never kind of freed myself up to do it from a narrative standpoint?
Taylor’s new ideas helped him break records as Folklore became his fifth best-selling album of the year in the United States.
She is the first musician to have released five best-selling albums of the year.
