Tara Reid begs Jennifer Coolidge to use her star power to get more American Pie movies made: ‘Come on, push it forward’
Tara Reid wants to do another American Pie movie with Jennifer Coolidge after her co-star’s comeback in The White Lotus.
The 47-year-old New Jersey-born actress hopes the 61-year-old, who played Stifler’s mother in the original teen comedy trilogy, will use her star power to “move “another sequel.
Tara was asked about Jennifer’s recent Golden Globe win for The White Lotus during an interview on Australian TV show Studio 10 on Friday.

“Jennifer received a Golden Globe for her role in White Lotus. How was it to see her win up there?” asked presenter Narelda Jacobs.
“It was amazing, Jennifer is a comedic genius and so sweet. She loved American Pie. We all did,” Tara replied.
She then suggested that Jennifer use her critical acclaim to push for a proper reboot of American Pie, after years of poorly received, made-for-DVD sequels.
‘Come on, Jennifer, you’re a powerful woman right now! Push him forward, she said.

One of Jennifer’s most famous roles was as “Stifler’s Mom” in American Pie, the teen comedy that coined the term “MILF”, meaning a sexually attractive older woman.
Earlier this month, Jennifer won Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series at the Golden Globes for her role in the HBO drama The White Lotus.
In her acceptance speech, she joked that her role as Stifler’s mother in the American Pie movies helped launch her career and she was ready to star in a new movie.
“Five different American Pie sequels, I pulled that to the bone, and I’m still doing six or seven — whatever they want,” she said.

Tara rose to fame in a supporting role in the hit series of coming-of-age films.
She was just 23 when she starred as girl-next-door Vicky alongside Jason Biggs and Jennifer Coolidge.
Since the release of the first American Pie in 1999, the franchise has developed a cult following, and a cinematic sequel would undoubtedly be a box office hit.
