“Ever since I read that Kim Kardashian wears two pairs of Spanxes, I’ve been doing this and it’s no fun,” Tamron said with a laugh.
Over the past few years, the Today show alum has solidified her position in the daytime television landscape through her popular talk show.
“You have to give people the grace and the space to speak, and that’s what we’re trying to do here,” Tamron said.
The Tamron Hall Show, now in its third season, has already been renewed through 2024 and there’s at least one A-lister the eponymous host would like to sprinkle with questions.
Ever since I read that Kim Kardashian wears two pairs of Spanxes, I’ve been doing this and it’s no fun, ”Tamron said with a laugh.
“I think Chrissy Teigen,” she replied when asked to name her current dream guest. “Knowing how outspoken she is, there is a story that even she’s burying.” And I would love to speak with her to see what she has learned.

The best-selling model and cookbook author was effectively “canceled” in 2021 amid a cyberbullying scandal that saw Teigen lose lucrative support jobs and contracts.
‘I think her whole story about how she saw those days [and] those tweets back then versus today’s new perspective, ”Tamron continued. “Knowing how outspoken she is, there is a story that even she’s burying.” And I would love to speak with her to see what she has learned.
“Honestly, she’s inspired by me”: Tamron channels her personal experiences in her debut novel, As the Wicked Watch, the first in her new series of thrillers following Jordan Manning’s character
Recently, Hall was able to tick a big name off her interview list when she spoke candidly with model Iman who opened up about her journey of grief following the loss of her husband, David Bowie.
“She’s deeply reserved, deeply deprived of anything that she discusses about this,” Tamron explained.
In his own life, Tamron has endured his fair share of grief, including the gruesome and unsolved murder of his sister Renate.
Now, she is channeling her personal experiences into her first novel, the first in her new series of thrillers following the character of Jordan Manning.
“She’s a reporter who goes from Texas to Chicago and then dreams of getting a big job as a national presenter. Sounds like someone I know very well, Thomas said knowingly. Tamron replied, “Honestly, she’s inspired by me.”
The story investigates a disturbing mystery surrounding the deaths of two black girls.
“This was rooted in two Thomas cases, which I covered in 1997, both involving 11-year-old girls and the deaths of those children in Texas,” Tamron revealed.
Adding: “When I was a journalist and that same year I went to Chicago and their stories haunted me on so many levels. And then the loss of my own sister and many years of Deadline: Crime – it was, in some ways, therapy, honestly or me writing this character.

The plot draws attention to a burning issue regarding the disparity in media coverage for victims of color, who are often underserved or underreported compared to white victims.
“You know, it wasn’t planned,” Tamron said. “To be completely honest with you, I never could have imagined that this book would come out when we were talking about, you know, Gabby Petito, who deserved every ounce of coverage this story received. And Jelani Day, a young boy who went missing in Illinois but received very little.
The body of Gabby Petito, 22, was discovered killed in September in Wyoming, an autopsy later concluding that she had died from strangulation and that it was a homicide. Her case, along with the manhunt for her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, who was later found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, grabbed national headlines.
Meanwhile, Jelani Day, a 25-year-old student at Illinois State University who went missing in late August and was later found dead in the Illinois River, received comparatively much less media coverage.
“It’s really a chance to have this constructive conversation where we say, ‘How do you do it right? How do we cover as many cases as possible, whether they are black or LGBTQ brown? “It’s not a black or white problem,” she added.
