12.05: Screenwriter 10/3
Is surely overpriced at this point given his two hurdle wins, including against Perseus Way who lines up as a 4/1 shot.
The horse trained by Gary Moore went on to win the second heat, which increases the chances of both riders, but more can be said for Scriptwriter who won well both times for Milton Harris.
Paddy Brennan takes the mount and is only 3 pounds heavier than the favorite Nusret.
Is going well on good ground and victory here in the Grade 2 Triumph Trial suggests there is more to come back to on this course.
1.15: Dolos 6/1

Coming in second to Greaneteen in early November and dropping back down in rank and class, a 6/1 price tag is huge.
Wore just 11-8 on Saturday and given the coach’s form recently, it’s hard not to side with Harry Cobden.
Greeneteen has since gone to the Tingle Creek Chase and came in second, which really ups Dolos’ chances among the lower-rated horses.
2.25: Stunning 5/4

Difficult to exclude Stunning at 5/4, Knappers Hill looks dangerous but will carry 7 pounds more than the star trained by Nicky Henderson.
Stunning finished just over three lengths behind Honeysuckle here in the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival earlier this year and followed that up with a big win over the distance in the Aintree Hurdle.
She looks in great shape this year and it’s hard to gauge how well she’ll reappear as Constitution Hill advances well.
Twelve lengths might be enough of a sign to see her back on the road to victory, although Henderson’s horses are doing well.
3.00: We were all caught 3/2
The Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle is the second Grade 2 of the day and it is Weveallbeencaught who is the clear favorite for the Twiston-Davies team.
Although Outlaw Peter and Thomas Mor both won their last novice hurdles by a significant margin and could be the danger for the favorite if he progresses through the Graded company.
The opposition will be much tougher, but their wins have been so easy that they may just be waiting to be unleashed in tougher races.
That being said, Weveallbeencaught is looking to make two grade runs in a row and was only ten lengths behind on this course last time out and might find it easy to come up on the trip.
Thomas Mor won over that distance point-to-point and over 2m7f at Worcester in October and could be the underdogs’ choice based on that.
Doncaster Race Tips
12:55 p.m.: Jet plane 4/1
Dan Skelton recently announced the winners and Jet Plane went home last time.
Winning by 24 lengths at 4/1 at Hereford increasing a whopping 14 pounds as a result and may well be tough to beat at the same price this weekend as the six-year-old appears to have found his ideal distance.
2.05: Numerator 11/2
Finished second at Haydock in April but found Paint The Dream and The Widdor Maker far too strong on their seasonal reappearance at Newbury last time out.
Usually does better straight after a break, but the winner was another level and down in class on Saturday. Numitor has a great chance, but will have to challenge the higher weight.
It’s a 3m contest though, his first time in a race of this distance but it could suit more.
Took almost 2m6f in 2020 over hurdles and handled that distance well enough to suggest 3m is more than doable and with his chase record is a great choice in an open and unpredictable chase.
