TALK ABOUT THE CITY: Keven Bentley, 47, father of Made in Chelsea star Olivia, reveals he found a BOMB in the 478-acre Chilterns estate that piqued the interest of Hollywood stars in the middle rumors that the property was sold for £ 30million

Millionaire Keven Bentley, father of Made In Chelsea star Olivia, apparently finds it hard to accept that his stay on a 478-acre estate in the Chilterns ends in the New Year.

Several sources, including a local estate agent, have confirmed that Burrow Farm Estate near Henley was sold for around £ 30million after being on the market for six months.

Millionaire Keven Bentley, father of Made In Chelsea star Olivia (pictured), apparently struggles to accept that his stay on a 478-acre estate in the Chilterns ends on New Years.

But if that’s true, Keven is in denial, telling me, ‘Nothing is confirmed.

“We had a lot of wealthy people looking around, including movie stars like Jason Statham, and there were four or five very interested people, but a sale was not made.”

The estate, which has 14 houses, 11 business units, two swimming pools and a pheasant shoot, was previously owned by insurance broker David Palmer – father of Keven’s wife Kate and his two sisters.

Mr Palmer died in 2019 and left it to Kate and her sisters Mel and Alice, who were reportedly keen to sell.

The buyer is said to be a gaming mogul who already rents the largest house on the estate and keeps a Porsche and a helicopter on site.

Sources say Keven found it difficult to come to terms with the loss of his home, and one person who viewed the property said Keven was sitting on a bench in the garden and “watching the visitors”.

Kate laughed at the idea, but admitted that a consortium to buy out her sisters “might have been a fantasy once”.

In another strange twist, Keven told me, “We found a bomb in the park. It made a noise of hell. This is one way to scare off buyers!
