Two oil changes and a car wash are currently under construction in town by Take 5 Oil Change.
One location is at 434 N. Bryant Blvd. by Julio’s and McDonald’s, and the other at 3201 Arden Road across from the former HEB.
According to city of San Angelo building permits, the Bryant store has a budget of $850,000 and the Arden store has a budget of $930,000.
“We’re not fans of wasting time,” the company’s website says. “We make sure you don’t use too much of your oil when changing your oil or washing your car. We work quickly and efficiently, but never skimp on friendly, professional, experienced service.”
Take 5 offers “stay in your car” oil changes, air filter changes, and windshield wiper blade changes. They also offer four types of car washes and unlimited washes for one monthly fee.
The company was contacted about opening dates, but the Standard-Times did not receive a response. There are no job offers posted for these stores yet. Once both are published, this story will be updated.
