T-Mobile LG V60 ThinQ 5G Android 11 update set to start rolling out on January 22 – PiunikaWeb

Although LG has not launched an Android 11 beta testing program alongside Google, the company launched public beta testing of the LG Velvet in South Korea in December.

In addition, there were rumors that LG started testing Android 11 for the LG V60 ThinQ internally in November.

We also recently reported that the company has released the Android 11 kernel source code for the Verizon variant of the LG V60 ThinQ 5G, suggesting that the update may start rolling out soon.

And it looks like it could indeed be, as we came across an alleged screenshot of a conversation between an individual and a T-Mobile support agent in which the exact date of deployment is mentioned.

In the screenshot, T-Mobile support agent claims Android 11 is expected to be released in waves starting January 22 for the LG V60 ThinQ 5G.

If the information shared by the support agent is correct, it means that we will see the update released in a few days.

The new update is expected to bring a host of new features and improvements along with a polished user interface.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, not much is known about LG’s future skin.

That means we’ll have to wait for the update to start rolling out or for an announcement from LG detailing everything new with its skin on Android 11.

If T-Mobile starts sowing Android 11 for the LG V60 ThinQ 5G in the coming days, there’s a good chance the update will also be live for the LG Velvet and other recent LG flagships.

Additionally, other carriers would also start rolling out Android 11 for the LG V60 ThinQ 5G around the same time.

That said, stay tuned to our dedicated tracker for more on the status and availability of Android 11 for all eligible LG phones.
