While Stallone and Flavin seemed happy when they premiered on Monday, they’ve apparently been through quite a bit over the past few months.

In August, a rep for the Rocky star confirmed for a reality series dropping the Stallone family, saying, “The Stallones are currently filming a reality show together, which will debut on Paramount+.”

Shortly after, former model Jennifer, who shares three daughters with the Rambo star, filed for divorce on August 19 after 25 years of marriage.

The news sent shockwaves through Hollywood, with many expecting a bitter divorce battle to rival Brad and Angelina.

Yet just a month later, the divorce was called off and the couple were then seen smiling and reuniting as they were photographed in Los Angeles, much like Kim and her family.

At the same time he and his wife nearly separated, Stallone was dealing with hurt feelings about a movie series he had created.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Stallone opened up about a reported Ivan Drago spinoff that producer Irwin Winkler wanted to make.

“They wanted another Rocky,” he explained. “And I was ready to do it. But I said, “After 45 years, can we change the rules of the game a bit? Even things up? Can’t I get a piece of what I created all those years ago?”

He went on to talk about executive producer credits, noting that he is not an executive producer on any of the Creed movies, even though he is listed as a producer on his IMDb page.

Stallone went on to say that the creative team took the project in a different direction than it would have taken.

“It’s a different philosophy – that of Irwin Winkler and Michael B. Jordan. I wish them luck, but I’m much more sentimental,’ he said in the interview. “I like my heroes getting beat up, but I just don’t want them going into this dark space. I just feel like people have enough darkness.
