Putting something in a glass display case is an idea that is not foreign to collectors. Many people do this to preserve the value of the objects, making it a very common sight in museums and galleries. Die-cast collectors who want to keep their precious toys also seem to favor display cases, and they are rightly so.
But what if your collection includes supercars? Is there a way to make a huge glass display case that can fit an entire Lamborghini Huracan?
Apparently there are, and it’s called the Supercar Capsule.
The Supercar capsule is a product of the Italian consultancy ASZarchitetti Group, composed of ASZarchitetti and SUPERFUTUREDESIGN. The two design companies have specialized in the luxury retail, trade and housing sectors in Europe, the Middle East and Asia for 20 years. The company is based in the United States.
The Supercar capsule is the latest product from the ASZ group, which transforms garage spaces into superb ones that can be inhabited by people. The project is entirely done by the client, so basically, the client’s imagination is the limit.
Although there are four types of Supercar capsules, such as the Villa extension which is a brand new box added to a certain part of the house; the renovation of the box which is essentially a remodeling of an existing garage into a beautiful showcase; the detailed box which would be a separate parking space where the car is represented in a sculptural way; and finally, the mechanized tower which would be a parking tower for two or more supercars.
As mentioned, the company that makes the Supercar capsule is based in the United States, so we don’t know if they are ready to make these special supercar storage solutions outside the country. But if you have the money to buy a supercar, then maybe you can afford to order the product overseas as well.
