Sunrise star Mark Beretta confesses to questionable office act

Sunrise star Mark Beretta admitted to stealing food from Seven Network’s communal work freezer live on Wednesday.

The sportscaster, 56, left co-hosts David Koch and Nat Barr in shock when he revealed he had some ice cream Natalie bought for her child’s birthday party.

After a segment on “food theft at work”, Nat recalled how the treat was stolen from the staff freezer.

“It happened to me once,” Nat began, recalling the incident from around 10 years ago.

“The worst thing that happened to me was that I brought ice cream – a box for my child’s birthday.

‘[I] put them in the freezer from work and by the end of Sunrise, someone had eaten an ice cream! »

Kochie asked Mark if he was the attacker, to which he replied rather coyly, “It’s hard to say.”

Nat quickly intervened: “for breakfast?”

“Yeah, we have – I mean obviously a lot of things happen, it’s getting confusing…I don’t know, I can’t be sure!” Mark said, sweating over the question.

Nat and Kochie then chided Mark for the theft in mock horror, saying it was for children on a birthday.

“Oh look, back then it was just ice cream, I mean, let’s face it, until it was given to the kid, it’s not birthday ice cream. a child, right?” he has answered.

“It’s just one more ice cream…it was delicious!”

Mark was called “hopeless” by Kochie while Nat pretended to be emotional.

“I’ll replace them!” Mark pleaded.

The segment ended with Nat joking he won’t do it like so long ago.
