‘We’re confident’: Studio 10 boss DEFENDS new format as odds don’t rise after Kerri-Anne Kennerley removal and addition of Tristan MacManus
It’s been over a month since Studio 10 launched its new line with Sarah Harris and Tristan MacManus at the helm.
And while the pair have yet to generate an audience uptick, Channel 10 bosses say they’re confident the numbers will rise.
“We’re encouraged by the way the series is moving,” executive producer Tamara Simoneau told The Sunday Telegraph over the weekend.

Ms. Simoneau stressed that if format changes always take time to resonate with the public, Studio 10 is doomed to greatness.
“ Tristan has done a fantastic job settling into the role of co-host with Sarah Harris and we are confident the momentum will continue to build over the next few months, ” she insisted.
Studio 10 underwent a dramatic overhaul in August amid a series of network cuts, which saw panelist Kerri-Anne Kennerley fired.

Former Dancing With The Stars judge Tristan joined the show on September 14, drawing 54,000 subway viewers.
Ratings declined steadily over the following week, averaging 38,000 metro viewers – a drop of 21% from the same period last year.
The show continued to struggle in ratings, peaking at 53,000 on October 9 and a low of 26,000 on October 16.

Meanwhile, Tristan’s stint at Studio 10 sounded the death knell for Dancing With The Stars – which was officially canned on October 15.
“ We have decided to hang our dancing shoes, lycra pants and sequined jackets for now, ” a spokesperson for the network told Daily Mail Australia at the time.
“ We would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone involved in the show, especially Amanda Keller and Grant Denyer, who were fabulous hosts, as well as to all of the judges, dancers, stars and of course to the team. ”
