Strictly Come Dancing has been scrapped next weekend to make way for the Qatar World Cup.
The ballroom dancing competition musical special will now air on BBC One on Friday December 2 at 8 p.m., while the results episode will air on Saturday December 3 at 5.40 p.m., with the remaining couples going to the semi-finals the week next. .
While the main show usually airs on a Saturday, it has been moved to make way for the channel’s televised World Cup fixtures.

“The Strictly Come Dancing quarter-final will now be shown live on Friday 2nd December and the semi-final will now be shown live on Sunday 11th December on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.”

“Everyone thinks because you’re on TV you have to be incredibly confident, but the truth is I’m not always and that’s how it comes out.”
