Stan Australia has announced that their family drama Bump has been commissioned for a second season.

The show, which brought together the team behind iconic Australian series Love My Way, has broken viewership records for Stan since launching on New Year’s Day.

The first season of Bump followed the story of schoolgirl Oly, who became school gossip as she chose to continue her senior year in school with her baby girl strapped around her chest.

It received mind-blowing reviews in the short time it aired because it’s an honest and hilarious story.

The show featured a crop of new talent, including Nathalie Morris, Carlos Sanson and Catalina Palma.

It will also feature newcomers Safia Arain, Paula Garcia, Ioane Saula, Peter Thurnwald and Ricardo Scheihing Vasquez.

TV Week Logie winner Claudia Karvan watched, co-created and produced the Witty Show.

“Bump is the show we needed now – a show that is genuine, full of heart and humor and a testament to our resilience,” Claudia said in a statement Monday.

“ We all can’t wait to come back to the story room and bring these characters to life. Stan were the ultimate collaborators and we look forward to working together again.

Bump was directed by Gracie Otto, Geoff Bennett and Leticia Caceres.
