Spotify unveiled its Wrapped 2022 campaign – anchored by the highly anticipated personalized year-end wrap-up experience for users – and announced the platform’s top artists, songs, albums and podcasts of the year.

This year’s Wrapped picks up fan-favorite features, including showing users their top artists, genres, songs, podcasts, and minutes listened to. Spotify has introduced new elements for 2022, including:
- Your listening personality: Spotify has created 16 different types of “listening personalities”, and Wrapped will show users which personality they match based on their listening trends in 2022.
- Develop your artist messages: In 2021, Wrapped featured thank you messages from around 100 artists. This year, Spotify has expanded it to include posts from over 40,000 artists, including Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, J Balvin, Pusha T, Shania Twain and Måneskin. Along with messages from your artist, eligible fans will receive a personalized video feed with thank you messages from some of their top artists in 2022, with each video followed by their most streamed song from that artist this year.
- audio day: an interactive story that gives you insight into how your musical tastes change throughout the day.
- Merchant of artists and concerts: In addition to custom and editorial playlists, Spotify’s Wrapped Hub will also feature products from your top artists, as well as listings of upcoming live events.
- More sharing options: This year, fans can share their Wrapped Cards on WhatsApp and Line, as well as unlock a custom Snapchat Lens that reflects their listening personality and access special Wrapped-themed apparel for Bitmoji. Spotify is also launching custom Wrapped-themed GIFs across all Giphy partners.
- Roblox Partnership: In the online gaming platform, the continent of Spotify Island will get a takeover wrapped with quests, games, virtual goods and photo booths with artists such as Bizarrap, Black Sherif, CRO, Doechii, Eslabon Armado , Miranda Lambert, NIKI, Stray Kids, SUNMI and Tové Lo.
