The Spark Sudoku Challenge 2023 is the second global online Sudoku challenge organized by Spark. The 2022 creation event attracted thousands of participants around the world. Among the competitors are those of TV show “Super Brain”, winners of the AMC (American Mathematics Contest) 12, and Spark Math students. All Sudoku puzzles are designed by a professional team including previous Candidates for the Sudoku Championship, judges for various Spark Math Sudoku competitions and coaches.
The competition is open to everyone, and Spark Math students from Spark Education will also form teams to put their skills to the test. The Spark Math program is an academic enrichment program. The traditional math learning experience is transforming into gamified learning. It engages students with engaging narratives and uses interactive technology to help students understand basic concepts, making it fun and enjoyable.
Spark Math students have performed well in other international math competitions such as AMC8 with 26% of its students registered on the Honor Roll of Distinction, i.e. 26 times more than the world average.
