ASSIGNMENT:

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch the Amazonas Nexus communications satellite for Spanish company Hispasat. Amazonas Nexus will provide high-speed connectivity to aircraft, ships and other mobile users across the Americas, Greenland and travel corridors across the Atlantic Ocean. The satellite was built by Thales Alenia Space and is based on the Spacebus NEO platform.

The Falcon 9 first stage booster will land on a drone in the Atlantic Ocean.

Please note: Amazonas-6 has a launch window of 5:32 p.m. to 9:32 p.m. If the launch does not take place by 6:30 p.m., the Visitor Complex will be closed to all guests as the launch window extends significantly outside normal opening hours.
