Alongside the all new Xperia 1 III and Xperia 5 III, Sony has presented a compelling mid-range offering dubbed the Xperia 10 III. As the name suggests, this is the third update of the Xperia 10 of 2019 and brings updates across the board. It’s also the first mid-range Xperia with 5G connectivity.
The front is occupied by a 6-inch OLED display with HDR 10 support and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Sony once again went for a 21: 9 wide aspect ratio, but managed to shorten the phone by 3 mm and reduce the width by one millimeter, which makes the Xperia 10 III more compact and easy to use.
The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 6 just like the back. You also get an IP65 / 68 rating and a headphone jack with LDAC support and high resolution audio.

The camera department is titled with a 12MP main camera with a 27mm equivalent lens alongside an 8MP ultra-wide snapper and an 8MP telephoto module with a 54mm equivalent lens. There are bursts of 10 frames per second with automatic exposure adjustment for each photo, like on the higher-end Xperia models.
The phone runs on the Snapdragon 690 5G chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The battery is increased to 4500 mAh while the software facade is covered by Android 11.
The Sony 10 III is available in black, white, blue and pink. Pricing has not been revealed, as availability arrives in “early summer”.
