Sony

is all set to expand its audio product range in India. Sony has started sending out media invitations for the launch of its new audio product. The company has confirmed that it will launch the new audio product under the WF-1000XM5 banner on September 27.

“Get ready to experience the ultimate audio revolution as Sony India unveils something extraordinary on September 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Prepare for a momentous event that will forever change the way you experience sound. Under the banner of the WF-1000XM5, we are about to reveal something that will redefine silence. The best silence is about to come out and you won’t want to miss it,” the invitation reads.

“Stay tuned for a groundbreaking announcement that will leave you curious and excited. Get ready to witness the future of audio technology as we reveal what happens when The Best Silence Drops. This is an event that audiophiles and technology enthusiasts won’t want to miss. Be a part of history in the making with Sony India,” the company added.

What Sony could launch

Rumors suggest that Sony might launch an upgraded version of its true wireless earbuds – Sony WF-1000XM5, which the company launched in July this year.

According to several online reports, Sony’s upcoming TWS could sport an improved and comfortable design. The headphones are designed to be lightweight and are smaller in size. The TWS is also rumored to feature support for active noise cancellation and LDAC with real-time audio enhancement.

Sony’s next pair of truly wireless earbuds are said to feature an IPX4 rating, making them water-resistant. The earbuds are also said to offer up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge.
