LONDON-ES Broadcast has announced its acquisition of the Memnon archiving solution arm of Sony. Terms of the contract are not disclosed.
Memnon provides services around the world to enable customers to digitize, store and access historical records. It operates facilities in Belgium, the United States and Australia.
This is the second impact of Sony professional services recently. Earlier this month, the company announced the sale of its Sony New Media Solutions division of the multimedia cloud to Deluxe.
ES Broadcast currently provides its media services primarily to UK customers through its subsidiary LMH. The acquisition expands its reach and increases its existing customer offerings, which include systems integration, equipment sales and rentals.
