In the early 2010s, Electronic Arts became famous for declaring that multiplayer games were the future because they eschewed single-player and narrative games. Sony, among other things, enjoyed its own single-player experience on Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and Last of Us. However, as soon as possible, Sony takes it a step further by borrowing a page from its failed playbook.
We’re curious how Guerilla Games will create an immersive multiplayer experience in the Horizon universe.

According to multiple sources like VGC and other trusted insiders, a multiplayer Horizon experience is in development.
While Guerilla Games still has a co-op mode planned for the sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, it’s worth noting that Guerilla Games has always been short on co-op mode. Due to the delays, he stepped forward in a wasted effort. For example, Guerilla may have just gotten the green light from Sony to launch multiplayer functionality as a standalone online game. Due to Sony’s huge plans for live games for the next few years, it might even be a live title.
Clearly, the Horizon multiplayer game is as good as Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.
We can all be sure that Sony will do its franchises well. Ghost of Tsushima – Legends are good examples. Sucker Punch Productions’ open-world action RPG game co-op multiplayer is a good, but not yet better, take on the basics.
For example, if we were playing devil’s advocate, a multiplayer standalone game like Monster Hunter would be fun.
Either way, the coming years will be huge for the Horizon franchise. Sony has confirmed that a live-action adaptation of the Horizon games is going to be planned. We have heard of a DLC for Horizon Forbidden West and a remake of Horizon Zero Dawn. Fans will also get a head start on PSVR 2’s launch title, Horizon Call of the Mountain.
We’ll be updating over the next few months to see the results of an announcement and confirmation of proposed Horizon projects.
