Sony will visit 60 sites in 17 countries across Europe, showcasing technologies from its Professional Displays and Solutions business in two mobile demonstration units.
The two units that will make their way across Europe this spring will include demos of Bravia’s growing range of 4K Professional displays. Sony’s workplace management solution, TEOS, will control the installed devices and enable their remote management throughout the roadshow.
Screens will feature the BRAVIA Supervisor showcased at ISE, as well as wayfinding, business, education and digital signage solutions. Visitors will also be able to see a live demonstration of the new SRG-A40 pan-tilt-zoom camera with AI (artificial intelligence) auto-tracking.
This approach to showcasing Sony products will reduce the amount of equipment and people needed to travel to small events and one-on-one demonstrations across Europe, as visitors and Sony experts can stay put, avoiding excessive movements.
The tour will also include country-specific channel events and both vehicles are equipped with stands donated by Peerless and a Rally Bar from Logitech.
Rik Willemse, Head of Sales at Sony Professional Displays & Solutions Europe, said: “We are delighted to bring hands-on professional demonstrations to the heart of our channel partners’ premises, giving everyone in their business the opportunity to see and learn about technologies first-hand, plus a glimpse into the future of Sony Professional Displays & Solutions products.
“While we can’t visit everyone with these 65m² satellite offices, we hope that, combined with the other local events we are organizing as part of the tour, they will allow us to connect and engage as many people as possible. our partners and their end users as possible, demonstrating that Sony is willing to go the extra mile to meet the needs of its customers.
The tour will last 10 weeks from March 27 to June 2, and a full list of locations can be found here: pro.sony/roadshow.
