Sony Indonesia has renewed Idenya Flux to manage Instagram and Facebook accounts for its audio products for a year. Sony Indonesia spokesperson said INTERACTIVE-MARKETING that the agency started working with Sony’s audio department last September and that the contract was extended for six months until the end of the year without a sales pitch. Only two agencies were selected to present the account last year, the spokesperson said. Sony Indonesia declined to comment on the billing for the account.
Ali Ichsan, Head of Marketing, Video and Sound, Sony Indonesia, thanked Flux for the great job and for meeting the brand’s expectations, especially regarding the tone and design of the content. “The Flux team is also creative and responsive. I hope we can develop further next year, ”he added.
Separately, Sony Indonesia and Save the Children Japan donated USD 10,000 to support relief efforts for families and children affected by the West Sulawesi earthquake in April this year. According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Culture in January 2021, 192,027 students and 16,620 educators were affected by the natural disaster.
On the audio front, in July it unveiled the WF-100XM4 headset which aims to provide a personalized and noise-canceling experience. Sony Indonesia conducts sales and marketing activities for Sony Corporation in Indonesia. There are six Sony centers and over 600 authorized dealers and nine branches in Indonesia.
Besides Sony, Idenya Flux also works with XL Axiata, Uniqlo, Garuda Indonesia, Lion Parcel, BNI, Standard Chartered and Traveloka. He was recently appointed by XL Axiata to manage digital tasks for prepaid communication.
