The PlayStation Showcase was apparently missing a lot of games, but it turns out there’s a reason for that.
The recent PlayStation Showcase received a lot of criticism from fans who wondered where franchises such as Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us, and more were. Turns out Sony may have held them back. Known leaker The Snitch said on his Discord:
“Guys. I know of a few announcements that weren’t announced during the showcase. It’s super super weird. For example, a PC port is coming in July”
The Snitch didn’t indicate exactly what the PC port might be, but it could be the long-awaited Ghost of Tsushima PC port that fans have been waiting for a few years now. It’s possible it could show up at Summer Game Fest, especially considering that PlayStation is mentioned as an official Summer Game Fest partner and last year we saw The Last of Us Part 1 revealed in another showcase. moderated by Geoff Keighley.
Tom Henderson also spoke about the showcase, saying:
“Updates and reveals on new hardware from PlayStation, in addition to focusing only on first-party titles, would be the showcase PlayStation needs to set up the next phase. It is understood that many of the games we We’re waiting to see are pretty much ready, so I don’t know why Sony decided to wait this time around.”
