Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV are all set to bring the cooking reality show MasterChef India to their audiences. Show makers will soon begin the hunt for the Indian MasterChef with auditions starting in Kolkata and moving to Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi. After the multi-city audition, the show will see chefs from across the country compete. Speaking of the show, Chef Vikas Khanna says, “Over the past 11 years, I have witnessed so many incredible changes in our kitchens. As a country we have diverse cuisines and MasterChef India brings all these flavors under one roof while celebrating and encouraging local chefs. It’s a great learning experience for me, because there is so much to know about our local cuisines and recipes.
Chef Ranveer Brar adds, “Cooking is my passion and something I have cherished all my life. So being part of MasterChef India only fuels my passion for cooking. The show will delve into the rich culture of food that Indians have relished for years.
