What will you get when you get it?

Sony has been trying to bring its VR headset into the mainstream for years. The first PS VR was a success as it sold millions and many developers created titles for it. But it’s very easy to say that it didn’t do as well as their consoles. However, that didn’t stop them from creating PS VR 2 and wanting to make it as big as possible. There have been many rumors and beliefs about the new VR headset, including that Sony won’t be making as many as originally announced due to low pre-order numbers. Sony then crushed this rumor, but the questions remain.
To answer all your questions about the PS VR 2, they’ve created an “Ultimate FAQ” on the PlayStation Blog designed to let you know all about the VR device. So let’s hit the highlights, shall we?
First, the headset will arrive on February 22 and will cost $549. Granted, that’s a steep price to pay for a VR device, which will likely keep initial sales low. But some will shell out money because they want to live the experience.
There will be two versions of the device at launch. There will be the standard version and the “Call of the Mountain Bundle”. This means you will get the PlayStation VR2 Headset with a voucher code for Horizon: The call of the mountain. That’s not a bad set, as the franchise has been one of the biggest hits on Sony systems over the past few generations of gaming, and the VR experience will give you a new experience with Aloy.
Some might wonder how much “impact” the headset will provide for a “memorable gaming experience”. Well, the blog responded to that by saying:
“PS VR2 is a quantum leap for VR experiences and lets you interact in new and immersive ways through the PS5 console. With PlayStation VR2 Sense technology, it combines PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers, the return of the PlayStation VR2 headset, 3D audio and eye tracking to bring emotion and immersion to life.
They invested in the graphics and made sure every pixel on your screen looked as good as possible. In addition, you will have two “viewing modes” at your disposal: the standard VR mode and the cinematic mode.
They also discussed the number of games that will be on the system and the compatibility of older VR games with new hardware. Be sure to check out the FAQ for answers to all your questions.
