New Delhi: In an effort to provide users with the latest technology, Sony India unveiled a new cognitive intelligence television series on Thursday, with the launch of BRAVIA 55X90J. Priced at Rs 139,990, the new TV is available at all Sony Centers, major electronics stores and e-commerce portals in India. With the help of the XR cognitive processor, the television series behaves like the human brain and understands how humans see and hear, providing a realistic and immersive experience for the viewer, the company said in a statement. Sony PlayStation to get 1080P support soon.
The processor delivers intelligence reflecting human cognitive characteristics, which detects the focal points of the viewer and cross-analyzes many elements of image quality to produce an image that is more natural and closer to human memory. The company claims this is a new method of processing that goes beyond conventional artificial intelligence (AI).
The new X90J series is available in sizes 189 cm (75 inches), 165 cm (65 inches) and 140 cm (55 inches). However, the company said the 189cm (75) and 165cm (65) will be announced shortly. The series incorporates Google TV which allows the user to browse over 700,000 movies and TV episodes from streaming services. XR signal processing technology enables the TV series to reproduce multidimensional sound for a truly immersive experience. XR Surround creates surround sound from the sides and vertically so you can enjoy 3D audio without the need for overhead or up-trigger speakers. The minimalist design of the X90J maximizes the screen and minimizes the bezel, the company said.
