Cameron BoyceThe birthday of was May 28, and in honor of this special day and his legacy, his close friend Sophie Carson shared their new collaboration with the Cameron Boyce Foundation. The nonprofit, which was established in 2019, aims to reduce gun violence and cure epilepsy.
On her Instagram, Carson wrote, “Dear Cam, you changed my world. Still. Today, on your birthday, the whole world celebrates you. The whole world is smiling at you. In your honor, I am very grateful to share the #SofiaxTCBF collaboration. When I think of Cam, I think of him in his favorite denim jacket. It was just him. And so our collection was born with a denim jacket that on your heart says “we can change the world”, and on your back a work of art that was drawn by our Cam. We sang these lyrics together. Cam drew this tree.
The actress and singer went on to say, “Coming together with TCBF and their beautiful family, who have become mine, to bring this to life is one of my greatest honors. I’m so grateful to share it with the world. My heart is forever yours, Libby, Vic & Maya. In honor of Cam. Let’s change the world together.”
The collection includes two different denim jackets, t-shirts, hoodies, a long-sleeved shirt, a hat and a beanie. On the site, he gives more information about the foundation as well as a powerful statement: “Cameron believed that young people should understand their power and that they could make a real difference.” Shipping begins July 6 and items are available for purchase until June 11.
The official Cameron Boyce Foundation Instagram shared the news and wrote, “Proceeds will help us cure epilepsy and end gun violence! Sofia and Cam had an incredibly special relationship and we are so grateful to her for supporting us in this campaign. Together we can change the world!'”
