WHITE OAK, Texas (KETK) – White Oak is located in the rolling hills and pine woods of northeast Texas in Gregg County.
When oil was discovered in the 1930s, the town was firmly established.
White Oak was once a dormitory community in Longview, then grew into a town that offers modern living.
With White Oak located just west of Longview, residents can enjoy small-town living while taking advantage of the cultural and business opportunities of a larger metropolitan area.
The population has not changed much over the past decade. The town has just over 6,000 inhabitants.
