Skye Wheatley is out after taking on Cyrell Paule at a star-studded dinner on the Gold Coast on Tuesday.
Another restaurant had secretly recorded the couple arguing after Wheatley asked Paule about rumors that her relationship with boyfriend Eden Dally was fake, and Paule later shared the video on Instagram.
Wheatley, 28, responded to the viral footage on Wednesday by posting a series of Instagram Stories offering her the account of what really happened.
She said she didn’t want to address the line initially because she didn’t like having “negativity” on her page, but she couldn’t hold her tongue anymore.

The confrontation had taken place at the glitzy Palazzo Versace hotel on Tuesday night, with Paule losing her temper when Wheatley questioned whether her three-year relationship with Love Island alum Dally was genuine.
The person sitting next to Paule secretly recorded Wheatley’s ramblings as they dined with other influencers and TV personalities.
‘Don’t be a smart a**eb***h. I’ll put you in your place,’ she warned Wheatley in the footage she shared on Instagram.

Wheatley said in her now-deleted Stories on Wednesday that she never meant to offend anyone and just wanted to ask Paule a simple question.
“There was no malicious intent,” she said.
Wheatley said she didn’t appreciate being called a ‘bully’ by Paule because she was ‘so against bullying’.
“I’m like a puppy,” she added, before claiming that it was Paule who was threatening her.

She acknowledged her question ‘triggered’ Paule, but said her angry response at dinner was unwarranted.
“I’m so open and honest that I’m putting my life here, so if anyone asked me about Lachy and me, I would just answer,” Wheatley said, referring to partner Lachlan Waugh.
Wheatley said she was shocked at how the incident snowballed and joked that she should “just take my voicemail off” to avoid offending anyone again.
In Tuesday’s catfight video, Wheatley bluntly questioned whether Paule’s romance with Dally was “fake” – despite the fact that they share a son together.

‘This is so cute. So he was friends with Cam [Merchant, Robinson’s husband]? I saw an article that said you had a fake relationship or something,” Wheatley said.

An angry Paule told Wheatley her questions were inappropriate.
“Do I sit there and say, ‘Are your lips real?’ No, that’s an inappropriate question. I’m not asking that. Don’t be a smart a**eb***h. I’ll put you in your place… Eat your food or I’ll stick your head in it. Shut up, barked Paule.

“Tonight…I experienced nothing but bullshit and female bullying from Skye, wondering if my three year relationship was genuine or not to date!” Is it so impossible for Eden to be with me? she wrote.

Paule claimed that Wheatley also asked her before dinner if she was “still with Eden” and if they had had their baby.
“If someone says something is inappropriate or shouldn’t be discussed… just know where you stand.” If someone says the topic makes them uncomfortable and inappropriate, know where you stand! Don’t just sit there and laugh at my interracial relationship that I had to justify for three years,” Paule said.
She then said that Wheatley’s actions “affected her son,” Boston.
‘I pity you because for one person to claim to have it all, your actions tonight have proven how little you have! Goodbye. I love Eden, Cyrell and our son Boston,” she wrote.

Paule and Dally met in March 2019 after her televised ‘marriage’ to Nic Jovanovic on MAFS ended when they decided they were better off as friends.
The couple began officially dating within weeks, and she later moved into his Sydney home.
They welcomed their first child together, son Boston, in February 2020.
