Sharon Stone looked effortlessly elegant as she was joined by her youngest son, Quinn, for a rare outing as the couple grabbed a bite to eat in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.

The Basic Instinct actress, 66 – who recently said she was “shocked” to not be offered any more big roles after her role in Casino – enjoyed a delicious meal with the 17-year-old at the hotspot celebrities, The Ivy.

The star wore a plain white top as well as an open-front black jacket.

The Golden Globe winner carried a black handbag over her left shoulder to hold a few items she needed during the day trip.

Stone accessorized her look by adding a pearl necklace and also wore a pair of black-rimmed glasses for the finishing touch.

Sharon is the mother of three sons, all of whom she adopted. Her eldest son Roan, 23, was adopted in 2001 after suffering three miscarriages during her marriage to newspaper executive Phil Bronstein.

After marrying in 1998, the former couple divorced in 2004, with Bronstein gaining primary custody and Sharon receiving monthly visits from Roan.

Last month in March, the actress spoke candidly about losing custody of her son after a judge chastised his racy role in Basic Instinct.

After the divorce, Sharon – who suffered a brain aneurysm in 2001 – also adopted Laird, 18, in 2005 and Quinn the following year.

Last year in October, the star opened up about focusing primarily on motherhood rather than Hollywood during an interview with People.

“I’m grateful that I chose motherhood as a healthy approach to my life and that I didn’t prioritize Hollywood because they certainly didn’t prioritize me,” she told the outlet.

She said her three boys were “wonderful” and added: “I’m grateful to have chosen the things I chose.”

And in 2018, while also speaking to People, Stone opened up about being a single mother. “It’s a really good time in my life right now – my life is happy.”

“I live in the same house I have had for 25 years and I feel happy waking up in my house with my children. They are at a wonderful age where we no longer need a nanny to live with us.

“I can wake up on a Saturday and come down the stairs and they’re playing and we’re hanging out.” We swim, play basketball, watch movies. We have a very beautiful family dynamic,” she added at the time.

Of single parenthood, Sharon said: “It takes work, time, years and effort. »

She later said: “I think somewhere in the back of your mind you think that maybe one day you won’t be a single parent anymore. And then, finally, you realize that I think it’s better. I don’t hope for anyone anymore.

“Now I sit down and tell them this is where I have to teach you how to be a gentleman and a man and we’re going to figure that out together.”

The Oscar-nominated star explained: “There were times where we thought maybe there would be someone else to help us, but there wasn’t. So that’s what that we are doing now.

Sharon is known for her roles in films such as Basic Instinct (1992) as well as Martin Scorsese’s Casino (1995).

During an interview with The Guardian last month in March, the actress looked forward to working alongside co-star Robert De Niro in the latter and called the experience “incredible.”

She was notably nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Casino, and ultimately won a Golden Globe.

However, while speaking to the outlet, Stone revealed that she hasn’t worked on any other “substantial” films after Casino.

“What happens in the industry is once you become a big seller, they want to put you in small projects, so you start funding people who want to start their careers. »

The mother of three continued: “Great, but that’s not really where I’m at. I want to work with the masters because I’ve earned my place there.
