Shaq loses bet against Dwyane Wade, must grow hair and show hairline – ClutchPoints

Future NBA Hall of Fame goalkeeper Dwyane Wade has enjoyed his retirement so far, the Miami Heat lifting his No. 3 shirt in the rafters of the American Airlines Arena last month and now his new TNT colleague (and former teammate) Shaq losing an over-air par to him.

Shaquille O’Neal bet on Wade that the Milwaukee Bucks would recently beat the Miami Heat, but All-Star swingman Jimmy Butler instead led the South Beach franchise to victory. The result of losing the bet for O’Neal meant pushing back his hair, the former bald NBA superstar center in front show off his hairline to people on the air.

O’Neal and Wade shared the Heat for more than three seasons, winning the first Miami title in 2006 against the Dallas Mavericks. Shaq had been MVP and three-time Los Angeles Lakers champion before being traded to the Eastern Conference franchise.

Wade briefly competed for the Chicago Bulls and shared hardwood with former Heat LeBron teammate James with the Cleveland Cavaliers before settling in South Florida for one last attempt in the 2018-19 season, after which he officially retired. Wade and Mavs forward Dirk Nowitzki appeared in last year’s All-Star game as the start for the two legends who faced off in a pair of NBA finals.

After his retirement, Wade joined the NBA on the TNT team, with more regular appearances this year when he manages to bite his former teammate.

While this is all the love between Dwyane Wade and Shaq, the Hall of Fame center is surely upset that they had to grow their hair – much to their embarrassment.
