Shania Twain, 57, poses topless in racy snaps

Shania Twain has stripped down for a topless photo shoot to tell the world she’s “comfortable” in her skin.

The 57-year-old singer looked sensational as she posed in just a pair of heeled boots and a fringed skirt, using her hands and a cowboy hat to shield her modesty.

After four decades in the industry, the Canadian singer has revealed that she no longer cares about what is said about her and wants to promote self-love and acceptance.

She told The Sun: “I drew this picture myself. It was about taking off the bra, taking off the shirt, tying the shirt around my waist.

“It’s a statement to be comfortable in my own skin and truly be myself.”

Asked about the criticism stars such as Madonna receive for wearing racy ensembles, Shania replied: ‘You must be strong. I never really get angry with criticism. You can’t please everyone, that’s normal.

The racy shoot comes as Shania prepares to take on a new role, taking on the role of Mrs. Potts in ABC’s Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration special.

She was announced as a new addition to the cast last week alongside Martin Short, 72, who will play Lumière.

They join HER as Belle, Josh Groban as The Beast, Joshua Henry as Gaston, and Rita Morena as the narrator of the live-action/animated hybrid special.

The special was announced in early July, described as a “two-hour mixed live-action animated special that will pay homage to Disney Animation’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and its legacy.”

It will feature “the fan-favorite film, plus memorable new musical performances, taking viewers on a magical journey through Belle’s eyes.”

The special presentation will also include “unreleased live musical performances and brand-new sets and jaw-dropping costumes inspired by the classic story.”

Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration Special airs Thursday, December 15 (8:00-10:00 p.m.) on ABC, and it will be available to stream on Disney Plus the following day.
