Recently, NBA Insider and analyst Shams Charania found themselves in an embarrassing situation. The Athletic reporter has been called out for running popular social media account Hoop Central. A serious mistake on the part of the Chicago native, finding himself in the middle of an online storm.
Shams was exposed via a screenshot posted to Hoop Central’s Twitter account. The subject being Draymond Green’s reaction to the 3-game suspension of Lakers goaltender Patrick Beverley.

What appeared to be the screenshot of Shams’ phone. Thus leaving the 28-year-old in dire straits with social media digging up some of the account’s old tweets, exposing his biased views on players and former colleagues.
