Seth Rogen and Chelsea Handler didn’t hold back as they playfully roasted Kim Kardashian for skipping The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment breakfast on Wednesday.
Rogen, 40, launched into a funny tirade about Kim having nothing ‘more important to do’ than attend the star-studded event, while Handler, 47, took a blow to the controversy over Kim’s Marilyn Monroe dress.
A source told TMZ that “the wrong date for the event was given to Kim’s team several weeks ago,” which caused a scheduling conflict.

“The error was only realized on Monday and unfortunately his schedule could not be changed at the last minute due to a prior work commitment,” the insider continued. “She was incredibly disappointed that she couldn’t attend because she never cancels.”
Rogen kicked off his monologue by asking, “Are we gonna talk about how Kim Kardashian didn’t show up?”
“I’ve seen every episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, I know she has nothing more important to do than that,” he sarcastically told the crowd.
“I’ve seen 100,000 hours of her. I know she doesn’t do anything bigger than that. That would be the highlight of the show. What does she do?’

Ouch! Handler, 47, took a swipe at Kim’s Marilyn Monroe dress controversy
Going by himself, Rogen alluded to Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West’s recent anti-Semitic tirades and all the problematic behavior that is most likely affecting the star.
“Honestly, she’s probably got a lot going on right now,” he said before presenting Oscar winner Charlize Theron with the coveted Sherry Lansing Leadership Award.
Next up was Chelsea Handler, who started her speech by addressing those who wondered if “the extra security on the outside was for Kim Kardashian.”

She jokingly clarified that enhanced security actually “showed up because I’m wearing Marilyn Monroe’s DivaCup.”
It was a direct swipe at Kim’s choice to wear an actual dress donned by the late Hollywood icon at this year’s Met Gala.

The Seven Year Itch actress – who tragically died aged 36 of a drug overdose – wore it while singing “Happy Birthday” to then-President John F. Kennedy.
Many criticized Kim for borrowing the dress from Ripley’s Believe It or Not instead of replicating it.
But in fact, Kim had only walked the red carpet in the original and changed into a line for the party.

It was also said that she ruined the dress, but that was later debunked.
In season two of Hulu’s The Kardashians, Kim said she expected the backlash, but decided to go all the way with the stunt anyway.
“I’m a little nervous that some people will hate it and just be like, ‘How dare she think she can fit into Marilyn’s dress?'” Kim said, adding, “And I get it.”
