Selena Gomez isn’t quite ready to relive parts of her life.
In an exclusive interview with E! News, the Only murders in the building actress mom, Mandy Teefeyrevealed that she and her daughter had “both agreed” not to watch her upcoming documentary, Selena Gomez: my mind and me.
“It’s something that I feel, because I did a little interview there, and I didn’t really want to do much about it,” Teefey explained at the Paw Works Animal Rescue “Ties and Tails” gala on October 29. “And it kind of put me in a state of mind that you just don’t want to see again after you’ve grown so much.”
She added, “So when the time is right, and I feel ready to watch it, I’ll watch it. But what I’ve seen of it is beautiful.”
As Gomez is set to share in-depth insight into her years-long mental health struggles in the documentary, Teefey detailed how she helped the singer through her bouts of depression and anxiety.
