Elsewhere, Selena just had a busy month thanks to the VMAs, where she and Rema won Best Afrobeats for their song “Calm Down.” Sel gave a short speech after receiving the award and exclaimed: “Thank you so much Rema for believing in me, and thank you for choosing me to be part of such an incredible song that was able to break records . Thank you all. for listening, for streaming, I couldn’t be more honored, and I want to send all my love to Nigeria, thank you.”
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift was Sel’s biggest cheerleader and was seen jumping up and down excitedly when her best friend won, which is the same.
