Technically, it might still be spring, but the summer fashion season has begun. Case in point: Selena Gomez leaned into sunny pastels at ABC’s Upfronts in New York today, pairing a short-sleeved yellow blazer with a matching miniskirt. She wore her hair up and had peach makeup for the event. Gomez was promoting his show Only murders in the building. Earlier this afternoon, she shared a first look at the second season of the hit Hulu show on Twitter.
“June 28th!! Can’t wait for you all to see season 2 of @onlymurdershulu,” Gomez wrote.
It’s not the only pastel tweed look Gomez has worn to an event for the show. She also paired a pink Mango cutout shift dress with a matching blazer for the Deadline Contenders Television event in April, earning a spot on our best-dressed list.

Gomez hosted saturday night live for the first time last weekend and did a Miley Cyrus impression that caught Cyrus’ attention and approval.
“I also asked one of my oldest friends, Miley Cyrus [for SNL hosting advice], and she said, “Just be yourself and have fun,” Gomez said in Cyrus’ distinct raspy voice. “I was like, ‘Miley, is this just an excuse for me to do an impression of you on the show?’ And she was like, ‘Damn yeah, I’m Miley Cyrus.'”
Cyrus leaned into this “Hell yeah, I’m Miley Cyrus” line, quoting it on his Instagram and tagging Gomez and SNLThe Instagram accounts of. She added a teapot emoji for extra fun.
