While the reported romance dated back to 2020-2021, Selena immediately shut down any speculation. In the comments section, Selena simply wrote, “I’ve never met this human, sorry.” The same handle followed their update, sharing Selena’s comment as a highlight to distract from any other gossip surrounding this romance that never happened. Selena has been linked to several showbiz personalities over the year. Some notable names include Zedd, Charlie Puth, Drew Taggart of the Chainsmokers, and Zayn Malik.

During a recent media interaction, a gushing Selena opened up about romance in general, indirectly referencing Benny Blanco. The singer explained how dating someone in the same industry ensures that they understand her pressures in a much more real way.
