Kevin Hart hilariously reveals that Dwayne Johnson was called “The Rock” because he’s stupid.

There’s no better relationship in show business than with Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson. The couple starred in several movies together, and their press rounds are always full of two men poking fun at each other at every opportunity. The video below shows Hart explaining why Johnson calls himself “The Rock” as he insults his intelligence, saying, “Because you’re stupid…it’s because of your IQ.”
Kevin Hart chimes in on the question posed to Dwayne Johnson, which is posed by a social media page called 90sWWE. Before Johnson can give his answer, Hart interjects to say that people always refer to Johnson’s intelligence. Hart hilariously states that people always say, “That Dwayne is as dumb as a rock.” If you’ve never seen the interactions between the funny men, you should do so immediately, because the video above is just a taste of the jokes they’re cracking at each other’s expense.
Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson have been part of the Jumanji reboot franchise, Central Intelligenceand more recently DC League of Super Pets, and their press releases are arguably the funniest videos on the internet. There’s even a video where Hart and Johnson come out and pretend to be each other during the interview, which is as funny as you can imagine. While we certainly don’t believe Johnson is stupid, Hart still insults his best friend’s intelligence and Johnson still makes obvious jokes about Hart’s height.
DC League of Super Pets is the most recent film starring the two men, as the all-star cast includes Kevin Hart, Dwayne Johnson, Keanu Reeves, John Krasinski, Diego Luna, Marc Maron, Kate McKinnon, and more. The film follows Krypto (Johnson) and Ace (Hart) as the dogs of Batman and Superman, who now have to save the day when the superheroes go on vacation. Although the film was made for a younger audience, it provided the same level of laughter as most Hart and Johnson films.
We’re not sure exactly when Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson’s next pairing will take place, but we’re hoping it’ll be soon, especially so more of the above videos can be made. It’s always good to know the actors can laugh at themselves, and the two gentlemen certainly know how to do it, as their hilarious interactions are always posted on the internet. Even though they constantly make fun of each other, you can also see the shared love between them, which is heartwarming to see.
Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson are both extremely busy men, as they both have quite a few movies slated for release in the next few years. Even though these new movies will include both, we hope Hart will be brought in for every press interview with Johnson, and vice versa, because that would make things that much more interesting. For now, we can all just hit the internet and watch all the videos that feature this bizarre pair, as they try to make each other laugh uncontrollably.
