The complaint was filed on behalf of Anthony and Stacy Hausman, residents of Indiana.
Hausman’s pressure cooker exploded under pressure April 2, 2018. Following the explosion, Hausmans suffered severe thermal burns to their bodies. The lawsuit alleges that the pressure cooker did not function properly when the lid was able to separate explosively from the pot during normal use of the pressure cooker.
