The search, which included other Trump properties, was conducted by an outside group convened by the former president’s lawyers after federal officials raised concerns about the proper accounting of sensitive government documents.
The recovery was first reported by The Washington Post earlier on Wednesday, citing three searches of classified documents after Trump’s attorneys were pressured by a federal judge to certify that they had fully complied with a subpoena. to appear from the May grand jury to turn over all classified documents.
