Scenes for Tom Hanks’ Next Movie Will Be Filmed in Beaver County This Week

Scenes from Tom Hanks’ upcoming film ‘A Man Called Otto’ are set to be filmed in Ambridge, Beaver County this week. Ambridge City Council said filming will take place on Merchant Street on Thursday and Friday. In the film, Hanks plays a retired man who strikes up an unlikely friendship with his neighbors. The Oscar-winning actor previously played Fred Rogers in the 2019 film “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” which was also filmed in Pittsburgh.
