The American superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics, Avengers was released in 2012. Actress Scarlett Johansson played the role of a black widow, while Jeremy Renner played Hawkeye in the film. At that point, the actress sat down for an interview for a major daily promoting the film, but was asked if she was wearing underwear under her costume in the film.
The 36-year-old actress’ performance was highly regarded, but before the film’s release, the actress and her co-star Jeremy Renner were on a promotional frenzy. Scarlett and Jeremy appeared for an interview for Major Daily Entertainment where the host asked her inappropriate and intrusive questions.
When Avengers stars Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner sat down to chat with reporter Extra Jerry Penacoli, he asked the actress if she was wearing any underwear under her black widow costume. To which the actress replied: “You are like the fifth person who asked me today.”
Scarlett continued, “What’s going on? Since when do people start to question their underwear in interviews? When Penacoli began to explain that he had asked the question because she was wearing a “tight” costume in the movie, the actress interrupted him and said, “I’ll leave that to your imagination. Anything you think I should or shouldn’t wear under this costume. “Watch the video below:
Meanwhile, Scarlett Johansson will reprise her role as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow in one of 2021’s most anticipated films, Marvel’s Black Widow. In the film, she is also joined by Florence Pugh, David Harbor and Rachel Weisz. It is also the first film in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
