Samsung, a South Korean tech giant, has announced the rollout of Voice Focus feature and One UI 5.0 for Galaxy devices in its latest Android update. Reportedly, the tech company has started rolling out these new Android updates for the Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, and Galaxy A73 5G smartphones.
Now, Samsung users will enjoy an improved and noise-free calling experience. The Voice Focus feature allows the listener to experience the call without any sound distortion even if the user is in a noisy environment, a report reveals. Also, the feature will improve the audio quality on the caller side.
Speaking of One UI 5.0, it will allow users to set background images with a wider range of patterns, designs, and colors, according to a report. This new user interface will allow users to choose from a multitude of current images, gallery photos and dynamic lock screens in one place.
Interestingly, the update also brings augmented reality (AR) emojis functionality. Now Samsung users will be able to create stickers in the gallery, develop custom call backgrounds with AR emojis and create much more.
In terms of security and privacy, the update brings additional features. Now, Samsung users will get a new feature called “Security and Privacy Dashboard”. This will allow users to get an instant overview of their handset’s privacy and security status, such as microphone, location settings and apps with camera access, the report suggests.
This feature helps users improve the security of their device. Additionally, users will receive more security patches and updates for the future.
As a reminder, Samsung also introduced its One UI 5 update based on Android 13 to the Galaxy S22 family. It recently released the update for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 along with other devices.
The South Korean smartphone company now says that it will continue to strengthen cooperation with Google and update One UI faster in the future. The announcement was made by the company via a blog post on its official website in the home country.
If the claim is true, we can expect the Android 14-based One UI 6 update to roll out much faster to Samsung devices – likely a month after it was released by Google.
