Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for its Galaxy A51 smartphone in various markets, including India, Nepal, Russia and Sri Lanka.
The latest firmware pushes back the Android security patch to October 2021 which fixes over 60 security and privacy issues.
It also improves system stability and fixes general bugs.

The latest Samsung Galaxy A51 firmware has the version number A515FXXU5EUJ2 and is being released gradually. To manually check for update, users can visit Settings> Software update> Download and install.
The phone is offered in four color options
As for the specs, the Samsung Galaxy A51 has a plastic body with a center-aligned perforation cutout, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
It sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Full-HD + (1080×2400 pixels) display with a 20: 9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It is available in the color variants Prism Crush Black, White, Blue and Pink.
There is a quadruple rear camera setup
The Samsung Galaxy A51’s rear cameras include a 48 MP (f / 2.0) main sensor, 12 MP ultra-wide lens (f / 2.2), 5 MP macro sensor (f / 2.4 ), a 5 MP depth camera (f / 2.2). Up front, it gets a 32MP (f / 2.2) selfie snapper.
It is equipped with a 4000mAh battery
The Samsung Galaxy A51 is powered by an Exynos 9611 chipset, paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.
Under the hood, it runs Android 10 and packs a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
For connectivity, the handset supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
