Samsung on Thursday invited local startups to collaborate on technologies around the “Digital India” stack, including Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Digilocker, Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), Open Credit Enablement Network (OCEN ) and Unified Health Interface (UHI). ), among others.
The company said its R&D centers and business units in the country will work closely with these startups to co-build solutions for a specific product or service, which has the potential to be integrated into the ecosystem of company products.

Samsung said it will also explore financial support for some of these startups to help them further develop their solutions.
Last week, the company held a “Startup Collab” event at the Samsung Opera House in Bangalore, where around 25 startups gathered and interacted with Samsung management from its R&D centers in Bangalore and Noida, and its corporate headquarters. in Gurugram.

A successful startup is currently powering Samsung’s local app store in India, where consumers can discover and access their favorite mobile apps in 12 Indian languages.
Another startup powered “Lock Screen Stories” on Samsung Galaxy smartphones. This feature has nearly 30 million daily active users, the company said.
