That said, there is no doubt that Samsung could make some changes that would make the new watch(s) even more popular. For example, by extending battery life. When will the Galaxy Watch 7 be released?

There’s no firm date yet, which makes sense considering Samsung hasn’t announced or even teased the watch. Additionally, the company didn’t even say when its next Unpacked would take place. However, Unpacked is believed to take place in July this year. It is therefore likely that the watch will be released in August, the following month. This is of course just speculation. How much will the Galaxy Watch 7 cost?

Pricing rumors don’t seem to have surfaced yet, but we can still make some estimates. Based on cost of previous models. Samsung has typically released one for around $300 over the past few years. This price would offer the smallest version of the watch and connect only to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Samsung will almost certainly release a cellular variant as well. As well as offering a wider option. These two elements would change the price a little. For the Galaxy Watch 6, moving from a 44mm watch to a 40mm watch dropped the price from $300 to $330.

Switching from Bluetooth/Wi-Fi to LTE but sticking with the 40mm size bumps the price to $350. Choosing both the larger size and LTE connectivity bumps the price up to $380. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic starts at $400 and can go up to $480.

We can probably expect the pricing of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 series to be very similar. Because Samsung hasn’t really changed much in recent years. However, the watch is rumored to be getting a huge upgrade. So it is always possible that there will be a slight increase in the base cost.

What are the specifications?

So far, a few specs have been rumored or leaked, but there’s still a lot that’s unknown. For example, the Galaxy Watch 7 reportedly got a huge upgrade. This huge upgrade would come in the form of a 3nm chipset. This will be Samsung’s first smartwatch to use a chipset of this size. Storage, on the other hand, will simply give the user more space for stored apps, music, and anything else you might store on a smartwatch. 32GB is a lot for a smartwatch, especially compared to the 16GB offered in the Galaxy Watch 6 series. Would you use all that? Who knows. Probably not. But if Samsung is increasing the number that much, there must be a reason for it.

As for other specifications, nothing has been rumored yet. This includes screen size, battery capacity, RAM and everything else. However, it probably won’t be long before further details emerge, with Unpacked potentially being just a few months away.

What will the design look like?

It’s a safe bet that the design of the Galaxy Watch 7 will be quite similar to that of the Galaxy Watch 6. At least for two of the models. If Samsung releases three versions of the watch this year, one of them would be the square design that Samsung used in the past. The other two watches should be round and quite similar to current models. One of them will likely also have a rotating bezel, with both having two side buttons for various functions.

They should also use the new locking system for bands that Samsung introduced with the Galaxy Watch 6 series. If you missed that, the Galaxy Watch 6 introduced new bands that have a button on the bottom that you press to lock and unlock the strap on the watch lugs. Unlike the traditional style where you pull on a small pin.

Plus, expect a clean left side with no buttons, unless Samsung decides to add new features that use them. But if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, and that seems to be Samsung’s design mantra because it’s been the same forever.

How many colors will there be?

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 will likely come in three or four color options when it comes to the watch case itself. The Galaxy Watch 6, for example, is currently available from Samsung in three different colors. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is available in two. It all depends on a few things. The Galaxy Watch 6 series devices are currently on sale from Samsung. At least for certain variants. There could also be more sales closer to the Galaxy Watch 7 release.

So one thing to consider is whether or not you want to buy a great smartwatch at a discount. Samsung could offer promotions on the new watch.
